The Lambrettas

The Mod revival of the late ‘70s and early ‘80s spawned a number of acts who enjoyed mainstream success, foremost among them Lewes’ pop rockers The Lambrettas. Signed to Elton John’s Rocket Records, the band had three UK charting singles including their #7 cover of the Leiber and Stoller classic ‘Poison Ivy’.

This compilation includes both of their studio albums, as well as non-LP studio and live tracks.

“Beat Boys in the Jet Age is every bit the "classic" album and deserves to be heard by anyone with a passion for power pop, jangle pop, mod, and new wave.” Stephen Schnee
